We left Florida today, after two months. I guess it was because
we were heading North from the sunshine state that it was cloudy and 33 this morning. Florida was great fun, warm,sunny and lots of interesting wildlife and interesting people. We're currently in Georgia at Crooked River SP. It's on the coast just South of Brunswick. All sorts in interesting History in this part of the world. Yesterday we were at a Good Sams club rally in Palatka Fl. I walked down to the river to check out the photo ops and there was a Historical Marker...It was the site of the only known instance of a Cavalry unit sinking a Naval vessel. (Confederate vs Union)...The Park that we are in today is close to a U.S. submarine base. I didn't see an alligator in FL, maybe I'll see a submarine in GA....
